CLWYD BIRD REPORT 2002

 

This 140 page booklet contains the Systematic List for 2002, covering over 220 species. The conservation status of each species has been assessed, using the red, amber or green lists for Wales.

The report also includes the Clwyd Target Species report on Yellowhammer, and a number of articles (All Wales Common Scoter Survey; Ring Ouzels at World’s End;  Waterways Bird Survey results for a section of the River Clwyd between 1994 and 2002; and an expanding Tree Sparrow Colony).

Other useful information includes the Ringing Report, Rarity decisions, dates for migrants, weather report and the BTO Farmland Common Bird Census. Helpful notes are included on the submission of records, and future surveys.
